Costa Rica 2014 qualifiers: Nigeria draw South Sudan

The national U-17 women’s team, the Flamingos, will have only South Sudan standing between them and a place at the 2014 U-17 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica next year.
The Confederation of African Football said on Monday only six countries. – Nigeria, Zambia, South Africa, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea and South Sudan-registered for the qualifying race, with three of them to represent the continent in Costa Rica.
Nigeria will meet South Sudan in a two-legged fixture, as will Zambia and South Africa, and Ghana and Equatorial Guinea.
South Sudan will host the first leg between November 1 and 3 with the Flamingos playing the hosts in the return leg in Abuja on November 23.
Meanwhile, the national U-20 women team, the Falconets, have intensified training ahead of their 2014 U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Sierra Leone at the National Stadium, Abuja, on Saturday.
